New Council Housing Development in Minehead

Closed 15 Jan 2021

Opened 4 Jan 2021

Overview

Somerset West and Taunton Council is encouraging members of the public to have their say about a planning application for 54 council rented homes at Rainbow Way (off Seaward Way) which is due to be submitted shortly.  This is the first time in over 30 years that new council housing has been brought forward for Minehead.

The budget for the scheme was recently approved by Full Council and work is now progressing on the plans.

Once our planning application is submitted all plans will be available on our planning website and you will also be able to comment formally through the planning process.
